Fitting a Head Spa into a Day in Seongsu — First-Timer's Guide to the 15-Step and 18-Step at Parkjun Beauty Lab

If you are in Seongsu and want to give your scalp a break, Parkjun Beauty Lab Seongsu is about 670m from Seongsu Station Exit 3 towards the café street, on the ground floor opposite the Dukkeobi Mart Ttukseom branch. It is open every day from 10:00 to 20:00 with no difference between days, so a head spa fits easily between plans on a weekday afternoon or a weekend.

First time? Choose the course when you arrive

Seongsu offers two head spas: the 15-Step Head Spa and the 18-Step Premium Head Spa.

• 15-Step — checks the scalp, clears it and replenishes it
• 18-Step Premium — adds relaxation and calming steps to the 15-Step

The salon looks at your scalp first and recommends one. The detailed steps are also adjusted to your scalp on the day, so for a first visit it is more accurate to decide after the scalp check than to agonise beforehand.

Planning it into your day

• Time — it depends on the course and your scalp and hair. Ask for an estimate when you book and plan around it.
• Hair length — longer hair has a length surcharge, which we tell you before the service.
• Parking — no dedicated car park; use the nearby Ttukdo Market public car park. Walking from Seongsu Station is easier.
• Pets — welcome.
• Payment — credit cards, mobile payments, Zero Pay, and Seoul Love and Seongdong Love vouchers.

Styling after the spa

You can finish with a blow-dry, or continue with a cut, perm or colour on the same day. If a sensitive scalp has made perms or colour feel like too much, you can settle the scalp with a head spa first and book the service for your next visit.
